Service user and carer involvement
We are passionate about giving the people we support access to different involvement opportunities so that they can develop and share their knowledge with us, learn new skills and gain confidence, and ultimately help us to make real change across the organisation.
Groups and forums
We host regular involvement groups and forums throughout the organisation, for the people who use our services and our volunteers. These activities help keep people up to date on what’s happening across the organisation and in touch with other people who access Making Space services.
Skills and confidence training
Anyone who uses our services is welcome to take part in our informal training sessions and short courses. These courses can be tailored to an individual or a small group of people, and are designed to boost confidence. They also build on the skills that help overcome barriers to involvement within Making Space and in the wider community.
Making Change is a new service user and carer-led group, promoting involvement and co-production across Making Space.
