Supported housing

There’s nothing quite like a place of your own to give you a real sense of independence, especially when there is a qualified team of professionals around to provide you with the care and support you need.

Making Space supported housing services combine accommodation with varying levels of care and support. Depending on your individual requirements, we have different types of supported housing and supported living services available to you, including short-term, long-term, and temporary accommodation in case of an emergency.

This combination of housing and personalised support is ideal for people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities, for older people and for those living with dementia, who want to have their own independence but the assurance of a care package suited to their requirements.

Making Space currently has five extra care housing schemes and over 70 supported accommodation services across the country.

We have two crisis houses, both based in Lincolnshire, that are available if you are in crisis, need emergency accommodation or are very unwell.

Making Space also has a number of home care (domiciliary care) and floating support services that are available at a number of our supported housing services, as well as in your own home in the local community.
