Teri Fisher is a Regional Head of Operations and is responsible for CQC regulated services in the Cambridge and Lincolnshire area.
Teri started her career in the health and social care sector 34 years ago as a Bank Support Worker, she then progressed throughout the years to become a Registered Service Manager.
Teri joined Making Space in 2019 as a Registered Manager of our Community Living Services in the East of England. She was promoted to Regional Head of Operations in 2022.
Teri worked with the same organisation for 30 years before she moved to Making Space following a recommendation from a previous colleague.
She said “When a suitable vacancy become available I took the opportunity to apply. It has been the best decision I’ve ever made, I feel Making Space live by their values and treat staff and the people we support with great respect.”
As part of her role she ensures that all of the CQC Registered services in the East of England are implementing the correct processes and practices, for ensuring that all services are following CQC Regulations and reporting any safeguarding concerns.
Teri inherited her passion for supporting people and wanting to make a difference to people’s lives’ from her mum who was a Learning Disability Nurse, she described her mum as her biggest influence in her life.
In her spare time Teri likes to spend time with her 4 sons and grandchildren, taking them to lots of different places. She also likes reading and cooking.
