Victor Ukpong

Victor is an accomplished finance professional with over 10 years experience in strategic planning, performance management, financial reporting and project management.

Victor started his finance career with PwC where he worked with clients across multiple sectors and jurisdictions, helping them prepare GAAP compliant financial statements and, designing and implementing corporate restructuring initiatives.

He later joined OVH Energy Marketing – the largest downstream oil & gas company in Sub-Saharan Africa as a Senior Financial Analyst and Technical Assistant to the CEO. He also worked with African Capital Alliance – an African focused private equity firm, where he assisted the CEO in implementing strategic plans and managing projects.

He is currently a Group Financial Analyst and leads the financial planning and analysis team at Open GI, a leading technology provider supporting the general insurance market in the UK. In this role he develops and maintains accurate, high quality and insightful financial information and analysis that drive strategic planning and decisions.

As well as being a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), he also has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Victor joined our Board of Trustees in March 2023 and is also a member of our finance and business development sub-committee of the board.
