Wayne joined Making Space as a Trustee because he has a strong personal connection to, and passion for, our vision to put wellbeing at the heart of health and social care. His father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia in 2019. As a family, they have faced the reality of the emotional and practical difficulties that these types of age related illnesses can present on a day to day and long term basis.
Wayne is happiest spending time with his family and loves all things outdoors with a passion for mountain biking and foraging.
With his different career experience and shared values, we are pleased to welcome Wayne to Making Space and believe he will be a wonderful asset in building our future.
