Trustee Recruitment 2021

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Trustee at Making Space.

We are looking to appoint new Trustees who will bring an understanding of good governance and most importantly will be inspired by our vision, mission and values. To further strengthen our board we are particularly interested in appointing someone with significant financial management experience to replace our existing Financial lead Trustee who is due to retire in 2022. We would also like to hear from people from diverse backgrounds who have an insight into the issues facing social care related charities and, if possible, who have Trustee experience in a similar sized charity to Making Space.

We are looking for people that share our values and support our vision of putting wellbeing at the heart of health and social care. We would like to hear from people who can challenge constructively, that are open to a variety of perspectives and experiences, and who want to be involved with a charity that works with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will be joining us at an exciting time in our history following the recent launch of our new vision, mission and values and our new 2020-2024 strategic plan.

On this page will find links and downloads to find out more about our charity, our plans for future, the Trustee role and it's responsibilities.

If you think you could be our ideal candidate we would love to hear from you. For an initial discussion with our CEO please email to make arrangements.

To apply for the position please submit your most recent CV along with a two-page supporting statement outlining what skills and experience you have that can complement and strengthen our Board of Trustees.

The closing date for applications is 7th October 2021. Interviews will be held week commencing 25th October 2021.
