Stress Awareness Month
|When||Wednesday 2nd June 2021, all day|
So many of us have been affected by stress at some point in our lives. This year, 65% of people in the UK have felt more stressed since COVID-19 restrictions began. With stress linked to physical health problems such as insomnia, digestive issues and problems with your immune system, it’s important for us to find ways of combatting stress that works for each of us.
To help us do just this, the Stress Management Society have launched a new '30 Day Challenge’ that we can get involved with.
The 30 Day Challenge’ encourages you to pick one action each for your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing to carry out every day.
It takes 30 days to turn actions into habits, which is why this is a month-long programme. The 30-day challenge will maximise your chances of turning useful knowledge and techniques into positive behavioural change.
Why not give it a try?
If you are looking for a different way to help reduce stress and improve your wellbeing, why not give this a try?
You can find out more about the challenge and download the 30 Day Challenge Calendar here.
We hope you find the challenge useful. On the Stress Management Society's website you can also find more resources and guides around understanding stress, how it affects us and how to reduce it.
