Becoming a Volunteer
We welcome enthusiastic and friendly individuals who can dedicate some time to help others. Whether you can give a lot or just a little, we would love for you to join us.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our services. Our volunteering team works with colleagues across our services and current volunteers to match you with the role that fits you best.
It’s important to us that you know exactly what you’re doing and feel confident when you volunteer with us, which is why we provide all our volunteers with a full package of training and support.
If you’re interested in volunteering with us, please fill out the form below or check out our current opportunities. We're looking for volunteers across various services—take a look and see what interests you!
We also support student placements for a number of courses including social work, nursing, psychology and health and social care. If you are interested in doing a placement with us, please get in touch using the form below.
Corporate Volunteering
We also support people who volunteer through their workplace volunteering program. We have had people volunteer with us with decorating, gardening, fundraising and many more ways you can help using your skills and experiences.
If you are looking to volunteer through your workplace or have a group of volunteers looking to help, please contact us on Volunteering@makingspace.co.uk.
