Festive Fun at Café Connect, Warrington

This December our Café Connect, part of the Connect Hub, a vital lifeline for mental health support in the community is now offering a range of new regular and festive events designed to nurture mental wellbeing, reduce loneliness, and build connections.

Located at Making Space’s head office on Allen Street, just a short walk from Warrington town centre, the café serves delicious, affordable meals in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. It’s a place where people can relax, interact, and access resources to support their emotional and social wellbeing.

Café Connect proudly participates in the national Chatty Café initiative, hosting Chatter & Natter tables every Wednesday from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm to encourage conversation and connection.

Until Christmas you can enjoy festive Christmas crafts sessions and in the New Year, join the Fakeaway and Movie Nights for just £5 per person, open to all.

The café is also offering affordable Sunday lunches are also available by booking only, with limited spaces for each event.

This December, Café Connect is bringing the community together with a range of fun and engaging events. On Wednesday, 11 December, start the day with the ZooLab Christmas Experience at 11am, an interactive session featuring festive-themed creepy crawlies. Later at 12pm, a Sexual Health Session will provide valuable information and resources in a welcoming environment.

Also on 11 December, join the Baking Space Coffee Morning & Bake Off, 11am to 1pm. This event includes a bake-off judged by Mario Li from Monia’s Cakes in the Hive, mindfulness techniques shared by Heather Arnold of Find Your Calm Sanctuary CIC, and a selection of delicious baked goods for sale.

Rounding out the month, the Christmas Party on Thursday, 19 December, promises food, karaoke, games, and festive fun for just £5 per person. Booking is required for this special event.

Café Connect is located at 44 Allen Street, Warrington, WA2 7JB, and is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm, Sunday lunchtimes, and with extended hours until 8pm on Thursdays.
