Join the #Captain100 Challenge for Making Space
We were all amazed and inspired by Captain Tom Moore's heroic fundraising achievements last April. His determination and fun persona gripped the world as he raised over £30 million walking 100 laps of his garden in time for his 100 birthday.
However, Captain Tom did not want to stop there! He and his family began planning a new event for 2021, before he very sadly passed away earlier this year. He wanted his family to continue his legacy and so they are asking everyone to join in the #CaptainTom100 challenge on the weekend that would have been his 101 birthday.
Everyone is invited to take on a challenge based around the number 100. It could be to bake 100 cakes, complete 100 jumps on a pogo stick or draw 100 pictures. It can be anything you want it to be!
The event will take place from 30 April - 3 May, so there's plenty of time to decide what to do and gain sponsorship.
We would love for you to take part and raise some vital funds for Making Space, either by completing the challenge on your own or as part of a team. It will be a really fun weekend of challenges and an amazing opportunity to achieve something brilliant.
