Making Space is proud be the first charity to receive a £250 donation from AAC Waterproofing under their brand new community support initiative.

Leading flat roof contractors, AAC Waterproofing has been providing installation of single-ply membranes and repair services to new and refurbished commercial properties across the North West for over 40 years. Now, the company is looking to give back to local communities.

AAC Working With You

Their new scheme will see AAC donate up to £250 for one project they complete each month. The destination of this donation will be decided by the chosen client, and it can be anything from a local charity or food bank to even sponsorship of a local community sports team.

The scheme launched this September and Making Space was their first chosen charity thanks to the recommendation from electrical contact metal manufacturer Vacuum Impregnated Products Ltd.

Bob Towers, Fundraising Manager at Making Space said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to receive this donation. We rely on donations from businesses, the public and grants to provide additional projects and activities for vulnerable people who we are working with. This can make a real positive difference in their lives”.

Michael Gwynne, Marketing Manager, at AAC Waterproofing, added, “We are very proud of the work we do here at AAC and we feel honoured each time a client puts their trust in us to carry out their flat roofing requirements and this is our way of giving something back and saying thank you”.
