Making Space named as care provider at two Trafford residential care homes
We are the new care provider of two residential care homes. Located near Sale town centre, Kara House and Lynwood Lodge are residential care homes that provide personal care and accommodation to older people.
The two residential care homes were purchased by Trafford council to maintain affordable residential placements for the borough’s residents.
Kara House provides accommodation for 39 older people in 29 single and 3 double bedrooms, and Lynwood Lodge provides care and accommodation for 4 older people, in 17 single and 2 double bedrooms.
Both residential care homes have dedicated support from a team of care staff trained to meet the person-centered needs of all residents and we have activity co-ordinators on-site to ensure that the homes enjoy stimulating and supportive environments.
Rachel Peacock, CEO, said: “At Making Space, we committed to providing high-quality care to the people we support by taking the time to get to know our residents and putting their needs, desires and choices at the heart of the care we provide.
“Our professional and caring teams strive to go above and beyond by providing residents with a homely, friendly and safe environment that enables them to lead a full and independent life in pleasant and comfortable surroundings.”
We are tasked with ensuring the homes retain their current ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission and look towards an improvement to ‘Outstanding’.
