On the 5 July 2024 we will be hosting our third ceremony of our annual Making Space Colleague Awards, for colleagues, apprentices and volunteers working across our charity.

The awards ceremony, being held at The Edwardian in Manchester, will be a special day that recognises and pays tribute to individuals and teams who inspire others, go above and beyond expectations and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support, carers and colleagues.

There are 11 categories available for nomination, which represent what our charity stands for, what we value and what we aspire to achieve. Also, this year we are introducing a very special award – The Jordan Carrington Kind Hearted Award – our much loved colleague Jordan will remain in our hearts as we recognise an individual or team that has truly lived our values. The winner of this award will be chosen from nominations submitted from our other awards.

All Making Space colleagues, volunteers and apprentices, as well as people we support and carers can submit a nomination.

For more information about the awards ceremony and our award categories, please visit our awards website today.

Last year winners were presented with their trophies at a ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool, with a keynote speech by motivational speaker and leadership expert Gavin Ingham. We also recognised colleagues that had hit service milestones and those that had completed qualifications, along with our monthly Living our Values Awards winners from the previous year. You can read about last year’s winners here.
