No one should face mental illness alone. We pair each individual with a volunteer befriender who will get to know you, learn about your interests and needs, and support you to take part in a wide range of social and leisure activities.
We offer a number of peer support social groups that are available for you to join and provide you with the opportunity to develop friendships and hobbies.
Due to a large waiting list, and after conversations with our commissioners, we are sorry but we are unable to take any new referrals for our Befriending Scheme at this time. This will be reviewed in January. We are though still recruiting volunteers.
