Supporting Service Users with Enduring Mental Health & Learning Difficulties to maintain their independence in a Health and Social Care setting registered with The Care Quality Commission.
11 Flats set in a large modern building with communal rooms, office and spacious gardens there are also 10 Service User Bungalows.
Why should you volunteer?
Flexible hours, management and staff support, in house training and induction package, make a difference to others, have fun, the opportunity to gain and develop skills, volunteering is a great addition to your CV, this role requires a DBS check which Making Space will arrange at no cost to the volunteer.
What will you be doing?
Supporting staff and service user participants to organise activities, attending outside events and group meetings. Welcome delegates at internal and external promotional events. Involvement in promoting the Making Space Co-production and Making It Real strategic plan.
What skills and experience will you need?
Good communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and willing to work as part of a team.
