About Darlington Extra Care
In extra care, older people have the opportunity to have their own flat and independence whilst there are trained staff who can support people with personal care, meal preparation, medication and assistant with daily tasks. Fundraising support people to get involved in activities to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and improve quality of life.

What will you be doing?
- Researching and promoting Making Space by helping convey our fundraising messages to the public and to local businesses
- Helping to initiate, promote and deliver local fundraising events, raffles, and challenges.
- To be an ambassador for Making Space by promoting our work with local networks.
What skills and experience will you need?
- Friendly, engaging and comfortable meeting members of the general public and networking with your local community.
- Someone who enjoys being a member of a team but are also able to work effectively without direct supervision.
- To be comfortable keeping basic records and managing numbers.
