At Making Space, we understand that our ageing population has very specific needs when it comes to help and care.
Our range of services for older people offers a personalised level of support which adapts as individual needs change over time.
For many older people, staying in their own home, surrounded by possessions and familiarities is very important. Making Space can help you to remain in your own home for as long as possible.
We can help you with daily living tasks and household chores, getting out and about in the community and taking part in social and leisure activities that you enjoy. We can even accompany you to hospital or doctor appointments, provide personal care, or even just stop by for a cup of tea and a chat.
As your care needs change, it is a good idea to consider all your options carefully. Should you decide that your home is no longer meeting your needs, it is too expensive to run or you would prefer to be closer to your family, there are a variety of housing options available to suit your personal circumstances and preferences.
Making Space has an elite network of residential and nursing homes, and provides packages of care to a number of different extra care housing schemes across the country.
Whichever care option you choose, our specialist support is centred on helping and encouraging an active independent lifestyle, and on coping with the demands of everyday living.
Our community day services offer a safe and welcoming environment for you to visit in your local community. Whether you need an extra bit of support, advice around health and wellbeing, or want to meet new people, our services are open to you.
