Carers Rights Day

November 2020

Each year, Carers Rights Day helps ensure carers are aware of their rights and let carers know where to get help and support.

Whether you are a new carer or have been caring for someone for a while, it’s important that carers understand their rights and are able to access the support that is available to them as soon as they need it. We have put together an article with everything you need to know about carers rights, read it here.

Caring for a family member or loved one is a very generous and selfless thing to do and it can be extremely rewarding. However, taking on such a physically and emotionally demanding role can also take its toll.

Its important that carers look after their own health and wellbeing while they’re caring for others.

We have put together a host of activities and talks to take part in on Carers Rights Day on Thursday 26 November, that will provide additional information to help in a caring role and a little bit of extra fun to enjoy alongside.

Each session is held on Zoom or Facebook and access is found by clicking on the individual links connected to each activity or talk below.
