This year anyone can send a Making Space Mother’s Day e-card to someone special.

Make a donation on the Making Space Mother's Day ecard page and follow the instructions to send an ecard. Up to 10 ecards are permitted per donation. So, it’s possible to send a card to Grandma’s, Foster Mum’s, Aunt’s, Step Mum’s and any other motherly figures in our lives.

All donations will go directly to our frontline services.

Bob Towers, Fundraising Manager, added, “The cost of living crisis is affecting us all but the people who Making Space support are feeling it more than most. We know that people are skipping meals or avoiding putting the heating on. We have added an extra provision to help the people we support through these difficult times but we would welcome more funding to offer more lunch clubs, warm hubs and other practical ways to help the people we support.”

Sending an e-card is also a great way to help the environment. A single greetings card can produce a carbon footprint totalling up to 140 grams of carbon dioxide, that’s 3 times its own weight in carbon emissions. With 30 million Mother’s Day cards sent each year in the UK, the impact sending a physical card has on the environment is huge.

Please join us this Mother’s Day and send an amazing Making Space Mother’s Day e-card to a loved one.

We understand Mother's Day can be a really difficult time for anyone that has lost their Mum. If you are struggling please talk to someone about your feelings. We hope that Mother’s Day can also be an opportunity to remember loved ones and value those who are in our lives.
