Our Place (previously Kara House)

At Our Place, we provide a homely, friendly and safe environment that enables you to lead a full and independent life in pleasant and comfortable surroundings.

Our Place accommodation is comprised of 29 single and 3 double bedrooms. The home currently offers residents the use of two lounge areas/activity rooms where they can meet with each other to socialise and have company during the day and evening. The activity room is a safe space for people living well with dementia to engage on one to one activities including reminiscence activities. There is also a dining room which will be turned into a café style area to promote socialisation and independence. There is a passenger lift to all floors that enables residents to reach bedroom and bathing facilities.

The home has a dedicated team of care staff trained to meet the person-centred needs of all residents and we have activity co-ordinators on-site to ensure that residents enjoy stimulating and supportive environments.

Our Place is located close to Sale town centre and is convenient for bus and Metrolink routes into Manchester and surrounding areas.
