Team leader, Sajeed Daji, won The Housing With Care Award at The Great British Care Awards in the Yorkshire and Humber region, an award that recognises an individual providing person-centred services to vulnerable people. Sajeed, along with the rest of the support team at the service, encourages the young tenants to develop their independent living skills, within a strengths-based model of support. They also empower young people to achieve their full potential, including improving mental health and wellbeing, daily living skills, financial inclusion and access to work, education, training and volunteering.
