The Monet Lodge Bake Off
The public were invited to take part in the Independent Hospital's competition on 25 October
4 of our employees and volunteers presented their cakes infront of the judges in this close cake contest, but at the end of the day there could only be one winner.
We would like to say a huge congratulations to Support Worker, Kamila Kolowrotkiewicz, who took home the cake Queen crown! She was chosen as the winner by Volunteering and Co-Production Co-ordinator, Antonia Pike, and our very own Paul "Hollywood" Drinkwater, who's an Occupational Therapist at our Ashwood Court service.
Thank you also to Alice Press, Helen Mcleod and Alice Arnaut for baking your cakes. This event wouldn't have been possible without you.
The staff team were also able to raise £41 for their service by selling 2 slices for £1. This money will go towards a range of events at Monet Lodge for patients with dementia.
